Save the Date: i~HD Annual Conference 2025, 3-4 December 2025 and AIDAVA hackathon on 2nd December 2025

Our AIDAVA partner, the European Institute for Innovation through Health Data (i~HD) invites all health data enthusiasts to its Annual Conference 2025: “A Decade of Joining the Dots – Towards Bridging Data Spaces” on 3-4 December 2025 in Ghent, Belgium.

📢 2025 marks a major milestone for i~HD as they celebrate their 10th anniversary, with as main event the Annual Conference in the beautiful and historic city of Ghent.

This event will look back on ten years of collaborations in improving healthcare and research through better use of data, and look ahead to the future with timely topics such as the European Health Data Space and the adoption of Artificial Intelligence by Health Systems.

As with previous editions, the conference will feature a series of plenary sessions, including keynotes from leading organisations, EU-funded projects and expert groups, alongside parallel sessions structured around core programme tracks. To mark this special anniversary, we are also delighted to invite attendees to a celebratory anniversary dinner on the evening of December 3rd.

This year’s conference promises to be a landmark gathering of policymakers, researchers, clinicians, innovators and patient representatives, all working together to shape the future of health data in Europe, responsibly and inclusively.

The day before the conference, i~HD is also pleased to host AIDAVA path toward sustainable interoperability hackathon on December 2nd in Ghent. Join us for the parallel session on the Simple Upper Level Ontology (SULO): a semantic interoperability framework, aligning healthcare data models and standards for better reusability.
