Roundtable Discussions

As the European Health Data Space moves toward implementation, a critical question is emerging: can the current approach be realistically delivered at scale, without placing an unsustainable burden on health data holders?

To explore this, AIDAVA is organising a series of structured roundtables bringing together senior stakeholders from across the European health data landscape. Three audiences will be convened separately: hospital managers, patient advocacy organisations, and EU and Member State decision-makers. Each roundtable will combine evidence-based analysis with open discussion to pressure-test current assumptions and develop concrete recommendations.

Findings will be synthesised into a peer-reviewed publication and, where relevant, translated into recommendations for European and national decision-makers.

Details on dates, locations, and participation will be published here as they are confirmed.

Patients Advocacy Group

This roundtable brings together patient associations and patient consultants to share their perspectives on the future of health data in Europe. Participants will discuss what high-quality, accessible health data means for patients in practice, and contribute to shaping forward-looking recommendations that place patient needs at the centre of European Health Data Space (EHDS) implementation.
